WHILE I was visiting a good friend in LA i had the pleasure of visiting the beloved LACMA. Lucky for me, Diane Von Furstenburg was having a free exhibit- The Story of a Dress. DVF is credited with the iconic wrap dress and making the dress apart of the everyday woman's wardrobe with fun, bold, vintage prints that are still popular today. "I design for the women, who loves being a woman." But Diane's exhibit did not just show of her colorful dresses, there were paintings/photographs/sculptures/etc. from artists all over the world featuring Diane herself or inspired by her and her art. Andy Worhol was one such artist that depicted Diane's face in a range of the many bright colors that Worhol was so famous for. If your in LA, this exhibit is a must- especially for those DVF lovers like myself.
